The 3-star Rho hotel opened it's doors in April
1989. It is located in a quiet street, just a few steps away
from the famous DAM square, in the very center of Amsterdam.
The building was once used by an old Amsterdam gold trading
company. The beautiful reception and lobby were once a theater,
built in 1908 in Art-Deco style.

The RHO HOTEL is located in the heart of the old city in
a quiet side street, a few steps from the historic DAM square,
the central square of Amsterdam, with the Royal Palace and the
"New Church". The Central Station is about 5 min.
walking distance, shopping and night life is, although it's
quiet location, all around the hotel. You find the best department
stores, the unique MAGNA PLAZA shopping mall, and the long pedestrian
shopping street "Kalverstraat" at walking distance.
Excursions by bus or by boat are leaving from around the corner.
Around the hotel are the canals with their historic houses.

INFORMATION
The rooms are modern and comfortable. All rooms have private
facilities en-suite (shower or bath and toilet), hair-dryer,
TV (satellite, 15 channels: NBC, CNN, Euro-Sport etc.), direct
dial telephone, mini bar, color television, safe (free of charge)
and fan. Non smoking rooms are available on request.
The hotel has 3 elevators.
Rooms are always included breakfast. This is a buffet style
breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon,toast,several kinds of
bread, cereal, yogurt, cheese, ham, fruits, fresh orange juice,
thee, coffee, etc. Breakfast is served from 7.00 to 10.30 AM.
The check-out time is 11.00 AM. After this you can store your
luggage in the hotel free of charge.
Check-in is 2.00 PM. Should you arrive earlier, then you can
store your luggage in the hotel.
The hotel has a bar, open from 4.00-11.30 PM.
The hotel reception is open 24 hours.
Bicycles can be rented in the hotel.
We accept for payment AMEX, VISA, EURO/MASTER/ACCES credit cards.
You also can pay with traveler cheques or with Dutch currency.
The hotel has it's own parking garage for your car. Little vans
up to 2 m. high and motor bikes can be parked here also. Parking
is not included in the room rate, for cars you pay NLG 40 per
day, for motor bykes NLG 20 per day.
Public areas of the hotel and some of the rooms are accessible
for wheel chairs.

and changes made to your reservation up to 6pm on date of arrival
will incur a charge of $10. All cancellations and changes made
to your reservation after 6pm on the arrival date of your reservation
mean that your payment will not be refunded.

One of the best hotels bordering
the Red Light District. Very friendly, accomodating, and a
great breakfast buffet. My company are regulars at this hotel.
