AREA
Hotel CITADEL is uniquely situated in the historic heart
of Amsterdam. The famous canals, the flower market, the Royal
Palace, and the renowned Bijenkorf and Magna Plaza department
stores are all within a matter of yards.Hop on a tram or bus
right in front of the hotel, and in ten minutes you can be at
the Rijksmuseum (National Museum), the Stedelijk Museum (City
Museum), the Van Gogh Museum, or one of the city's many other
attractions.From the Central Station, Schiphol Airport is about
half an hour's train journey, and the RAI Congress Center/Exhibition
Complex and World Trade Center are only fifteen minutes or so
away. By car, it is also about half an hour to the airport,
fifty minutes to Utrecht or Den Haag, and sixty-five to Rotterdam.
Hotel CITADEL guests are entitled to a 25% discount at the covered
car park in front of the Central Station (approx. 500 yards'
walk).

The Citadel was ideally placed for the centre of Amsterdam.
The rooms were comfortable, clean and we had a great street
view of the hustle and bustle of trams etc. We enjoyed our
4 night stay at this hotel very much and would have no reservations
about recommending it to other travellers. Go and enjoy !!
