Golden Tulip Barbizon Palace is located in the oldest and
most unique part of Amsterdam and is partly built behind restored
facades of 19 historic buildings, most of which date from

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel
in 1971. We have travelled to many countries throughout Europe
and Australia and Canada but we have never found a hotel to
complete with the beautiful surroundings in the Barbizon Palace.
It was our wedding anniversary and we were given special treatment.
Perhaps we are rather late in recording our gratitude but
nevertheless it should be recorded.
