Thisapartment is situated in an 18th century National
Monument, which is located in the Jordaan, part of the
old historical heart of Amsterdam, 500 meters from the
Anne Frank house.

 SURROUNDING
AREA
The
Jordaan is a lively, picturesque, authentic, safe and friendly
neighbourhood, scattered between and around the Amsterdam
canals. It is just off the noisy commercialized tourist zone
but with everything on your doorstep: small streets and squares,
tree-bordered canals, loads of monuments, a variety of small
restaurants, bars, terraces and all sorts of shops (amongst
which supermarkets, bakery, eveningshop etc.). There is a
streetmarket literally around our corner every Saturday (also
organic food) and Monday (also fleamarket). The Central Train
Station is only a 10-minutes-walk away. You can get everywhere
easily by foot but if you prefer also by public transport.
Adrian's apartment is situated in a part of our house but
you have your own entrance. It overlooks the garden at the
back of the house, is very quiet, comfortable and has good
light.

INFORMATION
The
apartments is perfect for one or two persons. Though we offer
you the personal touch of a B&B, breakfast won't be served.
The fully equipped kitchen gives you the option of preparing
breakfast, lunch or even dinner yourself. But you can also check
the many reasonably priced delicious breakfast café's
which are abundantly around. In the kitchen you'll find a stove,
microwave, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities (coffee,
tea and milk present), pans, dishes, cutlery etc. The apartment
also has central heating, telephone/internet-connection, cable
television, radio, a modern private bathroom (shower, toilet).
You can choose between one or two single beds or one king size
double bed, all of them very comfortable. |
