enjoy our quiet, atmospheric and fully-equipped apartment
in one of Amsterdam's most historic, well-known canal
houses - "THE DOLPHIN." Occupied in
1605 by Captain Frans Banning Cocq who is featured in
Rembrandt's famous painting "THE NIGHTWATCH",
this apartment has the original 400 year old towing
wheel illuminated and exposed in the living room - creating
a unique and dramatic effect.

 INFORMATION
The apartment was recently renovated with the master
bedroom overlooking the beautiful courtyards in the back and
a view of the Wester Church in the distance. The upstairs guest
room has twin beds and is complemented by a separate study-loft
area overlooking the living room that has a magnificent view
of the prestigious Singel Canal and Magna Plaza. Living room
has an antique armoire that contains the tv/vcr with cable hookup
and cd/stereo. Sofa turns into a trundle bed for two if needed.
This cozy top floor apartment has an open kitchen in the dining
room, a bathroom with bath/shower, sink and toile., The laundry
room contains a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. Pets are
NOT allowed, No Smoking.
Alarm clocks, bed and bath linens, bilingual staff, cable tv/vcr
and cd/stereo in living room, computer hookup, full kitchen
(coffee maker, dishes, microwave, refrigerator/small freezer,
toaster oven, pots/pans, utensils), gas cooktop, kitchen linens,
laundry room (washer/dryer, iron and board), telephone, tv in
master bedroom and laundry room with washer/dryer, iron and
board. Pets NOT allowed, No Smoking. |
